Roehampton Societies hold variety of events

Through hosting events, societies at the University of Roehampton are raising awareness of their society all the while providing an opportunity for others to join in and have fun.
Taking place on February 27 and 28, the philosophy society, Esports society and the film society are hosting events for both members and everyone else to join.
Speaking on societies, the Roehampton Student Union said that they “are the perfect way to try something new and explore your hobbies and interests during your time at Roehampton.”
Starting at 6 pm, the Philosophy society is holding a debate contemplating the nature of “what is a question”, ending with a social outing to the union.
The Esports society is holding a tournament tomorrow at 6 pm at Queens Building 244. The tournament is focusing on the Legends of RuneTerra, where they have great giveaways from National Students Esports.

Screening tomorrow, the second film is called “are you proud?”, which shows rare archive footage and interviews across a spectrum of historical and current activists across the United Kingdom, celebrating the LQBTQ+ pride movements achievements.
“Interest based societies give you the opportunity to enjoy the things you love and broaden your skills at the same time.
